Google used its Made by Google event on 12 August 2026 to launch the Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag. It also added a new colour for Pixel Buds Pro 2 and introduced Gemini features designed to work across the new devices.
Pixel 11 Series
The phone range includes Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All four use the Tensor G6 processor, start with 256 GB of storage and support Pixelsnap Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging.
- Pixel 11: A 6.3-inch standard model with 12 GB RAM, a 48 MP main camera, 5x telephoto camera and 30x zoom.
- Pixel 11 Pro: A compact Pro model with a brighter 6.3-inch display, upgraded triple camera and Pro Zoom up to 120x.
- Pixel 11 Pro XL: A 6.8-inch version of the Pro with a larger battery and faster wired charging.
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold: A thinner, lighter foldable with a 6.5-inch outer screen, 8-inch inner display and improved crease.
The Pro models also introduce HiLight, a ring of rear LEDs that provides visual feedback for selected calls and Gemini interactions when the phone is face down. Camera updates include Magic Capture, faster Night Sight and improved zoom.
Pixel Watch 5
Pixel Watch 5 keeps the familiar round design in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes. The main changes are faster performance, 64 GB of storage, improved GPS, new Fitbit and Health Guardian tools, and deeper Gemini support. New health features include breathing emergency detection, blood pressure and insulin resistance trend tracking, and a Smart Wake alarm.
Pixel Tag
Pixel Tag is Google’s first dedicated item tracker. It works with Google’s Find Hub network and is designed for keys, bags, wallets and other personal items. Ultra wideband support enables precise nearby finding on compatible Pixel phones.
Pixel Buds Pro 2 Update
Google did not replace Pixel Buds Pro 2. Instead, it added a new Olive colour that matches the wider 2026 Pixel range. The earbuds continue to offer active noise cancellation, the Tensor A1 audio chip and hands free Gemini access.
Gemini Across the New Devices
Gemini was central to the event. Tensor G6 supports faster on device AI, while new features include Magic Capture, improved camera search, more natural voice input and sign language to text support. Google’s aim is to make the phone, watch and earbuds work as a connected assistant rather than separate products.
Product Release Timings
Pre orders opened on 12 August. The Pixel 11 phones and Pixel Watch 5 are scheduled to begin shipping on 20 August, while Pixel Tag will arrive later in 2026. Pricing and availability vary by country.
Made by Google 2026 focused on a complete Pixel ecosystem. The Pixel 11 series provides four phone formats, Pixel Watch 5 expands health and fitness tracking, Pixel Tag adds item finding, and the Pixel Buds Pro 2 update keeps the earbuds aligned with the new range. Tensor G6 and Gemini provide the common software layer across the lineup.
