The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is shaping up to be one of Google’s most important foldable phones yet. Expected to appear alongside the rest of the Pixel 11 lineup at Google’s August 2026 hardware event, the device is rumoured to bring a familiar foldable design with meaningful improvements in performance, display brightness, AI features and camera flexibility.

    Design and Display

Early reports suggest the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will keep Google’s book-style folding design, with a large inner screen of around 8 inches and an outer display of just over 6 inches. The overall look may be more refined than the previous model, with slimmer bezels, a cleaner rear camera area and colour options such as Midnight and Pine. The phone is also expected to support bright, smooth OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it well suited for multitasking, reading, gaming and media viewing.

    Performance, AI and Cameras

The biggest upgrade could be Google’s Tensor G6 chip, which is expected to focus on better efficiency and stronger on-device AI. That would fit naturally with Google’s growing Gemini features, especially on a foldable screen where split-screen tasks, image editing and real-time assistance can feel more useful. Camera leaks point to a triple rear-camera system, potentially including a telephoto lens with longer optical zoom than earlier Pixel foldables.

    Price and Outlook

If the rumours are accurate, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will remain a premium device, with pricing likely near the top end of the foldable market. That means its success may depend on whether Google can deliver a lighter, more polished foldable with better battery life and camera performance. For Pixel fans who want the biggest screen, the newest AI features and a flexible form factor, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could be Google’s most compelling foldable yet.
